Crazy fun trip on Pesca Panama – when I asked some of the first timers returning to the floating lodge at day’s end how the fishing was, some simply blankly shook their heads, replied “I don’t know what to say, best of my life, my arms hurt from hooking fish, never seen anything like it, we quit on schools, drove away”. Hell I still shake my head after all my years here.
Rooster over 80lbs, 89 10lb-150lb tuna caught from 4 boats in 1 day, true 800lb class black marlin (biggest we’ve seen this year) garfed a 25lb mahi that was being fought on medium spinning gear. The father/son tried for 15 minutes before the marlin barfed the mahi.
